If you struggle with the feeling of being overwhelmed, on edge, stressed, stuck, or you experience a persistent sense of dread.
You may find yourself caught in cycles of overthinking, panic, avoidance, worry about the future or you have a fear of being judged by others.
You may be dealing with a low mood or challenges in both your career and relationships.
You are not alone.
These experiences feel exhausting and difficult to manage.
At times, we can all feel uncertain about the future or unsure of what to do next. In those moments, what we often need most is a safe and supportive space to process what is going on in our lives.
Counselling and coaching can offer that space.
It will help you to feel heard, to learn and develop your own personal coping strategies and the ability to move forward with greater understanding and confidence.

Sessions are for 50 minutes online via Google Meet or in person at my practice in Peckham Levels.
Online sessions = £75
Face-to-face sessions = £90
Sessions can be booked as a one-off or a block of 4.
Book a block of 4 sessions = £295
Face-to-face block session = £355
I work with a number of health insurances, such as Bupa, Vitality, Aviva, and WPA.
I always have a crisis session available if required on Monday mornings.

I am Helen, an Anxiety UK-approved Psychotherapist , counsellor and coach.
Connection is at the heart of both my work and effective therapy.
For this reason, I offer a free 15-minute initial chat so we can get a sense of whether we are a right fit and can work together.
I understand that one size does not fit all and because of this, I developed my therapeutic approach to be different.
I combine counselling and coaching. to support you to manage and overcome excessive worry, anxiety and panic.
I will work with you to help you feel more confident and able to speak up in meetings or as you present to groups. Over time, my clients report they begin to feel more comfortable leaving the house without emotional barriers, socialise more easily, try new hobbies and set healthy boundaries in both their personal and professional lives.
I also support with ADHD, AuDHD and dyslexic.

Please check my calendar or send me an email, and I will get back to you to confirm a suitable time and date for our call.
Our initial 15-minute chat can be via telephone or Google Meet . It is a chance for you to ask any questions and get a sense of whether we are the right fit to work together.
Following this, I will send you a counselling agreement explaining how we will work together, along with a form to collect your personal contact details.
I will then confirm the date and time of your session and provide either the location details for in-person sessions or a Google Meet link for online sessions.

Your first session is for you to feel heard and understood in a supportive safe space that is separate from every day life.
Sessions can take place online, via telephone or in person, depending on what feels most comfortable for you.
During our first meeting, we will discuss what has brought you to counselling or coaching and the challenges you may be experiencing.
There will also be time for you to ask any questions you may have about the counselling process and how we can work together.
Together, we will establish goals for therapy and discuss session times, including arranging a regular weekly or fortnightly session at a day and time that works for you.
Sessions are for 50 minutes and are always led by what you would like to discuss.
Together we will sensitively explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, giving you a chance to reflect, process and talk through any difficulties you may be experiencing in a safe and supportive space.
Depending on your needs, I may also suggest tools or exercises to support you outside of sessions, taking a more directive approach where appropriate to help you work towards your goals.
We will also have regular check-ins to explore what is feeling helpful and supportive, ensuring feedback as our work together continues.
Counselling is a journey rather than a quick fix.
It can provide insight into how we relate to ourselves and others, helping to reduce fear, anxiety while increasing self-awareness , understanding and acceptance.
It can support you in finding meaning, building confidence, and moving towards your full potential. Through counselling, you can also develop new ideas, techniques, and coping strategies to better understand and manage difficult situations, emotions, and behaviours.
Payment is required before each session.
If you are using private health insurance, including Bupa, please check whether your policy includes any excess fees, as these are payable directly by you. I will invoice you directly for any excess charges.
I have 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange a session.
Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged in full.
